Letter Supports Stronger Oversight of Fracking

American Sustainable Business Council

ASBC prepared a letter to EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy on the inadequacy of regulation being left to the states. We want to make the business case for stronger federal oversight - but we need the help of our partners and business supporters to do it.

The letter is in response to a document, signed by several state chambers of commerce, urging the EPA not to regulate fracking. Our goal is to demonstrate that businesses want to see minimum federal standards to ensure fracking does not harm public health, the environment, and the business community in states that allow it.
