Dansko
http://www.dansko.com/

An innovative comfort footwear leader, Dansko stands at the forefront of sustainable and ethical business practices. It all began 22 years ago when wife and husband team Mandy Cabot and Peter Kjellerup discovered the very first Dansko shoe. A single shoe launched a comfort phenomenon!  Dansko now offers sandals, boots, heels, flats and many, many types of clogs, with all-day comfort infused into every design.  In 2012, Dansko announced a transaction in which all shares of the company were redeemed, including those of the founders, Mandy and Peter.  All of the shares in the company are now held by a new ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan), resulting in a 100% employee owned company.

A founding B Corporation, Dansko believes people, community and planet should be right up there with the bottom line.  That’s why Dansko gives their staff paid time off for volunteering and uses only renewable sources to power their LEED® Gold Certified Pennsylvania-based headquarters.  The Dansko Foundation is dedicated to giving back to the community through employee sponsored grants and service projects to charitable organizations that demonstrate in word and in deed, a benefit for human kind.

New Belgium Brewing
http://www.newbelgium.com

New Belgium Brewing, makers of Fat Tire Amber Ale and a host of Belgian-inspired beers, is considered a leader in sustainable business practices. New Belgium became the first brewery in America to subscribe to wind energy for its electrical needs in 1998. The brewery currently produces 15% of its electricity onsite by harvesting methane from its process water treatment facility to fire a co-generation engine. In 2009, New Belgium installed a 200kW solar array atop its bottling hall and the brewery continues to strive to reduce its water usage at every turn.

New Belgium is recognized as one of Outside Magazine’s Best Places to Work and one of the Wall Street Journal’s Best Small Businesses. The 100% employee-owned brewery is a Platinum-level Bicycle Friendly Business as designated by the League of American Bicyclists, and one of World Blu’s most democratic U.S. businesses, and a Certified B Corp. In addition to Fat Tire, New Belgium brews eight year round beers; Ranger IPA, Rampant Imperial IPA, Shift Pale Lager, Sunshine Wheat, 1554 Black Ale, Blue Paddle Pilsener, Abbey Belgian Ale and Trippel. Patagonia
http://www.patagonia.com/us/home

Patagonia grew out of a small company that made tools for climbers. Alpinism remains at the heart of a worldwide business that still makes clothes for climbing – as well as for skiing, snowboarding, surfing, fly fishing, paddling and trail running. These are all silent sports. None requires a motor; none delivers the cheers of a crowd. In each sport, reward comes in the form of hard-won grace and moments of connection between us and nature.

For us at Patagonia, a love of wild and beautiful places demands participation in the fight to save them, and to help reverse the steep decline in the overall environmental health of our planet. We donate our time, services and at least 1% of our sales to hundreds of grassroots environmental groups all over the world who work to help reverse the tide.

We know that our business activity – from lighting stores to dyeing shirts – creates pollution as a by-product. So we work steadily to reduce those harms. Staying true to our core values during thirty-plus years in business has helped us create a company we're proud to run and work for.
