Building the High Road Workplace - Practices & Policies

12
Jan.
Time: 5:30pm to 7:45pm Pacific Time
Place: San Francisco, CA

Companies across the U.S. are beginning to implement High Road Workplace practices—a mix of improved compensation and benefits, flexibility, participative management, greater transparency, employee ownership options and more. High Road practices have been proven to boost profitability and shareholder returns while improving the lives of employees and strengthening local communities.

Unfortunately many employers have yet to take the High Road. American Sustainable Business Council has been working to establish financial and other public policy incentives at the federal, state, and local level. Active business support for policy change is crucial as we enter a new political climate skeptical of the triple bottom line.

Join us for an in-depth discussion of the benefits and challenges of the High Road Workplace: What does it take? What is the payoff? And what incentives can accelerate this crucial transformation of the future of work?
