Greenwire covered ASBC's release of a poll on small business owners' opinions on toxic chemical reform. The article notes:

"Pollsters said the findings flew in the face of traditional political arguments that small businesses are wary of new regulations.

'In general, we find that small-business owners are concerned about the threat posed to human health and the environment, and they are supportive of regulation,' said David Mermin of Lake Research Partners.

"The stereotype,' he added, 'that small businesses hate' government regulation is 'not the case.'"
