ASBC Published The Business Case for Supporting Clean Water in the Delaware River Watershed

ASBC is building a coalition of businesses to keep the Delaware River clean for generations to come. ASBC published The Business Case for Supporting Clean Water in the Delaware River Watershed, which describes the threats to the Watershed and the importance of having reliably clean water to the health of the community and to the region’s economy. Not only does the Delaware River supply drinking water to five percent of the population of the United States, it contributes over $22 billion in annual economic activity and supports 600,000 direct/ indirect jobs with $10 billion in wages in the region’s coastal, farm, ecotourism, water/wastewater, ports and recreation industries.
