Standing Up to the U.S. Chamber
ASBC hosted public forums in Seattle on November 11th and in San Francisco on November 12th on the powerful lobbying and campaigning machine that the U.S. Chamber of Commerce has become. Richard Eidlin and David Brodwin of ASBC along with Alyssa Katz, the author of “The Influence Machine: The U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the Corporate Capture of American Life” participated in the interactive programs. The conversation highlighted Alyssa’s new book on the U.S. Chamber and the growing role of ASBC in countering their power by advocating on environmental, economic and high road business issues at the state and federal level. Additional events are planned for the winter of 2016. If interested in hosting one, please contact Richard Eidlin.
