NFIB Revealed as Front Group for Large Corporations

The National Federation of Independent Business claims to represent small business in challenging the Affordable Care Act.  Recent research into its sources of financial support indicates it relies heavily on large donations, over $1M each, from politically-connected wealthy individuals and major corporations. Concentrated donations like these can’t plausibly come from America’s Main Street.  Representatives Raul Grijalva (D-Ariz.) and Keith Ellison (D-Minn.) have called on the group to release information about its outsized donations, and The Washington Post covered the growing controversy.
